This would never work in America. Not for one day. But in Japan, beer isn't that tough to find in vending machines. It's not in
every vending machine, but there are plenty with at least a few cans of alcohol. There are no restrictions on this machine, either, so kids could just buy beer if nobody was watching. That's how good Japanese kids are, I suppose. But the cigarette machines require a special ID tag card to activate the sale.
